During troubleshooting, the measurement and recording of signals is one of the main tasks of the systems engineer. OMICRON’s CMC 256plus and CMC 356 testing systems each contain a powerful 10-channel transient recorder.
With the "EnerLyzer" software option, both testing systems can be extended to include several powerful measuring, analysis and recording functions. This makes the recording of analog or binary signals possible on up to 10 channels at a sample rate of up to 28 kHz. The measuring functions can also be used simultaneously with the generation of output signals in order to carry out signal monitoring. There is also a range of trigger functions for carrying out fault recording and analysis.

CMC 256plus – Protection Relay Test Set and Universal Calibrator
OMICRON’s CMC 256plus is the universal solution for testing protective relays and for the calibration of meters, PQ analyzers and transducers. The ten binary inputs of the CMC 256plus can also be used as analog measuring inputs in conjunction with the "EnerLyzer" software option.
CMC 356 – Protection Relay Test Set and Commissioning Tool
With the CMC 356, OMICRON has produced a universal safety testing device and commissioning tool. The "ELT-1" (“EnerLyzer and Transducer Hardware”) software option allows the ten binary inputs to be used as analog measuring inputs. With the "EnerLyzer" software, the CMC 356’s function as a current and voltage transient recorder provides systems engineers with valuable services.
