Dissipation Factor, Power Factor and Capacitance Measurement

Power/Dissipation factor and capacitance measurements on capacitive bushings are of utmost importance to detect defects in the potential steering electrodes - long before they lead to a breakdown of the insulation. Measurements between tank and winding or interwinding results are performed to detect mechanical movements of windings inside the transformer without optical inspection.
