2010: OMICRON received award for best employer in Austria 2010
Great Place To Work 2010

In March 2010 OMICRON received an award for best employer in Austria within the category major enterprises by the Great Place to Work® institute. Additionally OMICRON won a special price for the employment and integration of handicapped people.
Due to this top placement OMICRON was also ranked among the 25 best workplaces in Europe and awarded for it in Madrid in May 2010.

Today the Great Place to Work institute is represented in more than 40 countries worldwide and is among the most renowned international business awards. Prizes are awarded for outstanding achievements in the areas of workplace culture and human resources. The assessment is based on credibility, respect and fairness of the management towards the employees, as well as identification and team building within the individual companies.

Manfred Strauß, managing director of OMICRON, perceives the award as a confirmation of the company vision: "We offer our employees an environment with no artificial limits in order to reach an excellent performance while having fun at work at the same time. 2008: OMICRON wins second place as best employer in all of Austria
Great Place To Work Europe  2008

OMICRON electronics is happy about another top placement among the best European employers. After the award for second place as best employer in Austria in 2008, OMICRON was ranked amongst the fifteen best employers in all of Europe by the Great Place to Work Institute.

1250 companies of 15 EU member states enter the Great Place to Work contest. The quality of the relationship between employees and management, among work colleagues, the employees' relation to their function and the organization are crucial criteria for the assessment of  job quality.


2006: OMICRON was awarded best pan-European employer in the electronic sector

OMICRON electronics received an award for best pan-European employer in the electronic sector by the Great Place to Work Institute. The contest is based on national studies completed by the GPTWI in fifteen of the EU member states, when regional champions are elected. Using the same criteria in all countries allows for a comparison of the various participants at a European level. Prizes are awarded for outstanding achievements in the areas of workplace culture and personnel work. The assessment is based on credibility, respect and fairness of the management towards the employees as well as identification and team building within the individual companies.
