OMICRON TestBase is a database application designed for companies operating in the electric power industry. It helps organize and simplify work procedures and frees users from much of the administrative tasks and paperwork associated with managing and testing assets. It also provides management with up-to-date information for planning and controlling.
Data on the device to be tested, test templates, test results, descriptions of the measurement procedure, photos, device handbooks or schedules – can be recorded, saved and called up any time with just one mouse click. TestBase can be used to manage any asset from firehoses to transformers.
TestBase simplifies maintenance planning since maintenance cycles can be defined for both individual assets and asset groups. An integrated reminder function informs the user of necessary maintenance work.
Due to its open architecture, TestBase can easily be integrated into existing IT infrastructures. This allows seamless information flow without time-consuming, costly and potentially error-prone multiple entry of data.
OMICRON test sets, such as the CPC and CMC, have interfaces to TestBase, ensuring automatic data transfer between test applications to support testers effectively in their tasks.

The TestBase Enterprise Edition based on a SQL client-server architecture creates a uniform database application for all users and enables company-wide asset and testing management. Users have access to all data and functions when working at remote sites, even in an offline mode without a network connection. As soon as a server connection is available, TestBase supports automated synchronization of all data.
