The software components of the OMICRON Test Universe are document-oriented applications using a test report as their central document and starting point.
The modular architecture is organized into a framework application called the OMICRON Control Center (OCC). The various other test modules within the OMICRON Test Universe are independent software components which handle specific testing needs (applications).
The OMICRON Control Center provides one overall testing document which contains all test information like hardware used, test object data, testing data (test points, results), the assessment, etc. This data is stored and used to generate a test report that can easily be formatted in content and style.
As the OMICRON Control Center test document contains all the necessary data, it can be used as the template for the next test by simply clearing the results and executing the test again.
