OMICRON electronics Deutschland GmbH has been providing outstanding engineering services in Germany and overseas since 1995. The company has acquired vast experience in various areas of protective relaying resulting in the establishment of four major lines of business: Training, Commissioning, Consulting and Test Automation.
Commissioning
The company's activities are mainly based on the commissioning of complete protective systems including the secondary interfaces of the substation, control equipment, generator, metering and DC-distribution. In the field of relay testing we cover periodic, factory and acceptance tests. All our engineers have extensive knowledge of the voltage levels 10-400kV.
Consulting
This line of business covers short circuit and network calculation, dimensioning protective devices, relay coordination, parameter setting and fault analysis as well as project coordination and site management.
Test Automation
This area is based on the OMICRON Test Universe testing software. Developing and implementing customized test routines for time-saving protection tests and homogenous test quality contributes to power supply reliability.
